Dispute Resolution Process

Step 1

Kindly approach New Cambridge Education Centre (NCEDU) on any issue that needs to our attention. The school aims to resolve it at this point and for most instances, it can be resolved at this step.

Step 2

If the issue is not resolved, a face-to-face meeting will be set up between the student and the principal. Students below the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents/legal guardians during the meeting. A dispute resolution form detailing the issue will be filled and duly signed for record keeping. The school aims to resolve it within 14 working days from the time of recording the issue.

Step 3

If the student and NCEDU are unable to resolve the issue 14 days, either party can refer the dispute to Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) through CPE Student Services Centre for mediation.

Note:

For matters related to student’s discipline and/or academic concerns (e.g. appeal on results or expulsion due to poor attendance, etc.), the institution procedures will take precedence over this the above dispute resolution procedure.
