We respect your personal data. Here, we would like to share the personal data that we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and how to withdraw consent, update or correct your personal data with us. We would like to assure you that your personal data is used strictly for legitimate business purposes as described in how we use it and it is used in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act ("PDPA"). https://www.pdpc.gov.sg/home
• The student, their parents or legal guardian’s as well as staff’s full name, National identification number/passport number or other form of identification number (e.g.,NRIC, FIN number, birth certificate number, work permit number, etc.), Date of Birth and Identity photographs.
• The student, their parents or legal guardian’s as well as staff’s contact information such as addresses, phone numbers & email addresses.
• Notarised Copy of documentation for legal guardian issued by the China authority.
• Student’s examination results or certificate.
• Staff’s academic’s certificates, current resume and bank account details if staff prefers it over PayNow.
• Academic staff’s Ministry of Education - Instructor Registration System application’s outcome and Criminal Record Rendered Spent status.
• Personal data collected from students are used for assessing admission and enrolment into the appropriate preparatory courses or general courses.
• Personal data collected from students, parents or students’ legal guardians as well as staff are used for performing administration purposes and for fulfilling the relevant regulatory bodies’ requirements for admission or, hire.
• Photographs, videos and/or audio recordings taken in classes, events or other activities are used for educational training (e.g. English oral exercises) and publicity purposes.
• Students’ academic certificates &/or achievements, students, their parents or legal guardians’ compliments & testimonials are used for publicity purposes.
• Contact information are also used for marketing communication for the promotions or offerings of preparatory courses or general courses.
We use technological software, safe internet and computer practices to store and safeguard your data.
You should be aware that there is no such thing as a 100% secured computing system in the internet space. Nevertheless, we strive to constantly review and enhance our IT security measures.
• Personal data are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, for legal purposes, or as required or permitted under law.
• The institution may choose to delete personal data securely after one and a half year or upon request to delete it.
Note: Request to delete personal data such as academic certificates of students or staff shall be rejected as such data are reasonably retained for regulatory compliance purposes.
